Critiques
I also like that your dark areas are really dark, creates a lot of contrast. Your highlights should be as white as the paper.
When looking at the larger view, it appears that the crevices in the hand could use a greater variation in value/tone in that they look to harsh (too strong), while other areas of the hand appear flat. This would help define more shape.
